Pre Fall 22-23

In a game of contrasts, so dear to Ermanno Scervino, the Pre-Fall 2022 woman reminds of an urban explorer, influenced by pop art and by the atmosphere of a metropolitan night; wearing a lace slip and clad in a warm polar jacket. There is a graphic atmosphere in the collection, where black is illuminated by white, yellow, and orange, and a more intimate and warmer one with camel, brown and creamy white. Some of the baggy jackets are made of light, impalpable sheepskin embroidered by hand; others are more technical and are padded with shearling details or lined with brightly coloured faux fox. There are parkas in a special leather that loses colour over time as if worn, coats in soft animal print calf hair with details in shearling or mink, coats in a doubled wool fabric adorned with fringed applications.

  • These technical and masculine garments are worn over delicate dresses in rebrodé lace featuring tone-on-tone geometric glitter motifs; bustiers and tight-fitted dresses crafted in a hand-carved doubled wool-cashmere fabric; miniskirts made in a very soft leather with a crocodile effect or aged napa leather and shearling. The pursuit for new processes and the combination of craftsmanship with technology, distinctive elements of Ermanno Scervino's work, are also in the knitwear. The Norwegian-style pullovers are enriched with hand-knotted fringes; the cardigans made in soft, horizontally ribbed wool carding seem as if sculpted; rough brushstrokes of colour are instead created on the jumpers, thanks to precious embroidery made using mohair in various colours. The contrast of black and white and warm colours with bright ones adds a graphic and strong character to this part of the collection too. Ermanno Scervino has chosen to express his idea of elegance even with this Pre-fall 2022 where the preciousness of the materials and workmanship acquires energy thanks to the encounter with styles from the world of streetwear.
